The Parish Council has agreed the terms of reference for a new Playing Field Management Committee to replace the current Playing Field Improvement Committee from April 2022. Itwill have more powers to make day to day decisions and spend its budget without PC approval each time. At the meeting on 13th September 2021, Councillors agreed to consider the environment when reviewing policies and carrying out their duties. It was agreed that ideas and recommendations would be considered in terms of their effect on helping or hindering the climate, air pollution and nature plans. Please be aware that Wittering Premiair Football Club have an agreement with the Parish Council and are hiring the playing field football pitch for the coming season through to May 2022. It is a trial period and will be reviewed. Supporters are very welcome and it is hoped this will generate some local interest in the team and help develop the future plans for the club with more adult and junior training and league matches.
