The playing field recommendations to be accepted were put to the council vote at their meeting on 10th February. The vote was carried for all of the recommendations except the installation of a gate. The recommendations will be project planned shortly, starting with an application for a grant for a perimeter path. The leases to a playing field association and the cricket club are in progress and the second application for official title ownership of the land has been done. Watch this space for more!
Please see the working party's final recommendations. The Council would like feedback from residents on these recommendations - they include demolishing the old building at the playing field, re-installing a gate, putting in a perimeter path and new adult and child gym/play equipment. Please get in touch to give us your views.

Update May 2020
The first of the recommendations has been completed! The playing fields have a new perimeter path for all to enjoy. We are very grateful to East Northamptonshire Council for the Community Facilities Fund grant of 10k that enabled this part of the improvement project to be completed. KKD Services carried out the work and the council is very pleased with the finished, rural style path to fit in with the area.
